Fall Futbol Festival presented by Publix

Polk County Sports Marketing will host the inaugural Fall Futbol Festival presented by Publix this October 25-27 at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park. The Fall Futbol Festival presented by Publix is a recreational tournament open to all teams as indicated on the Application to Host approval form, comprised of properly registered youth players (as defined by the rules of the affiliated organization) from all Federation Organizations (USYSA, US Club, AYSO, SAY, etc.) in all age groups listed in the Tournament Rules, provided such teams are in good standing with its youth association. It shall be the responsibility of each State Association or Federation Affiliate to certify the eligibility of its competing teams to provide such teams with a certified copy of the roster. Permission to travel and proof of insurance is required by the granting authority. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to consolidate or eliminate age groups where insufficient numbers of teams apply to that age group.
U8 – U14
The U8 division will be festival-style competition while the U10, U12, and U14 divisions will play tournament-style. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 mini-games.
Tournament entry fees are due with the team’s application for the tournament.
- The entry fee per team (U8 & U10) for the Fall Futbol Festival presented by Publix = $250
- The entry fee per team (U12 & U14) for the Fall Futbol Festival presented by Publix = $500
If a team plays in all of its scheduled games, the team’s entry fee shall be returned within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the event.
If a team forfeits one (1) of its scheduled games, one-half (50%) of the team’s entry fee shall be returned within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the event.
If a team forfeits two (2) or more of its scheduled games, the team will not receive a refund of its entry fee.

All registered athletes will receive a free tournament t-shirt.

Saturday Block Party Event
11AM – 3 PM on Field 6
Free, and open to all participants and their families.
There will be lots of games and prizes including those listed below. Pick up your free tournament t-shirt and goody bag at the Polk County Sports Marketing tent. All teams are encouraged to bring an already carved pumpkin to enter into a contest with the winning team receiving Chick-fil-A kids meals for the entire team plus a gift card for the coach!

- Pumpkin “painting” while supplies last

- Ring Toss
- Corn Hole
All teams will be responsible for booking their own accommodations. We have a complete list of host hotels and vacation rental homes including pricing and contact information, for the Fall Futbol Festival presented by Publix. Reservations must be made by Friday, October 4th to ensure the listed rates.
