 Central Florida Junior Golf Tour Now the Mid Florida Junior Golf Tour

The YMCA Par 3 "Home of The First Tee of Lakeland" is proud to announce that MIDFLORIDA Credit Union has agreed to become the title sponsor of the Central Florida Junior Golf Tour beginning in the 2010 season. The formally Central Florida Junior Golf Tour will now be known as the MIDFLORIDA Junior Golf Tour. The MIDFLORIDA Junior Golf Tour is a unique junior golf experience that allows youth between the ages of 8-18 the opportunity to play competitive golf at an affordable fee. The Tour presents juniors a chance to showcase their skills and receive recognition while playing from age-appropriate yardage. This year will mark the fifth year of existence for the MIDFLORIDA Junior Golf Tour which will begin its season on May 1st at the YMCA Par 3 golf course. Also on May 1st, a ceremonial ribbon cutting will be held to announce the partnership between the YMCA and MIDFLORIDA Credit Union. The YMCA Par 3, Home of The First Tee of Lakeland is a branch of the YMCA of West Central Florida, a non-profit charitable organization. The First Tee program strives to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
