Running in Polk County, Central Florida
There are many picturesque areas in Polk County to run and enjoy the scenery. From our beautiful 2.88 mile paved trail around Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland to the beautiful tree lined streets of Winter Haven, Polk County has something for every type of runner. More of a trail runner? Head out to Circle B Bar Reserve for over 6 miles of nature trails.
In addition to road races, Polk County hosts many endurance races and adventure runs. Ironman 70.3 Florida takes place in Haines City in May, and Warrior Dash Central Florida in Lake Wales during February.
